Who's behind ISABEL's ROSE?
Isabel's Rose is the new and ever expanding line of glass jewelry from artist Lori Flanders. I make all the glass beads myself. Occasionally I do use small store bought accent beads. I make all of my beads by heating rods of glass in a 1700 degree flame. The molten glass is wound around a mandrel (a stainless steel rod coated with clay)--this is what makes the hole. The glass I use comes in many colors and every color you see on a specific bead comes from melting these rods and adding the glass to the bead. Unlike fused glass, where pieces of glass are cut cold, layered and then fused in a kiln, all of the work I do is while the glass is molten. Once I've formed the bead I place it in a kiln overnight. This anneals the glass and makes it very very strong. Won't glass beads break easily? Nope. There are glass beads still in existence from the ancient Egyptians. If annealed properly, like my beads, they should last forever. BEWARE OF IMPORTED GLASS BEADS. Some beads being made in China or India ARE NOT ANNEALED. These can break easily and can be very dangerous. If FOR ANY REASON one of my beads breaks or chips I will replace it. Sure! Email me & I'll see what I can do. How long will it take for my order to arrive? I will email you when you place your order. If I have the piece/pieces in stock they should ship within 2 days. If I need to make them they'll usually ship within the week. If you need something right away, please email me first. What forms of payment do you take? For now I'm only taking paypal. YOU DO NOT NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO USE PAYPAL!!! It's easy & super safe, I promise. Plus you can use your choice of credit card or pay by check through paypal. IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH PAYPAL please email me and we'll figure out some other form of payment. Because I am a tiny tiny company (just me!) I don't normally accept returns, but I will HAPPILY exchange or resize anything you'd like. My goal is to make you happy, and I REALLY want your experience with me to be THE BEST YOU'VE EVER HAD on the internet, so I will try my hardest to make you happy. Email me and let's see what we can do :) For orders under $75 shipping to one address shipping is $2 (first class mail + delivery confirmation). Orders $75 and over shipping to one address ship for free! If you are shipping to more than one address you can either checkout each order separately or email me and I will send you one invoice.
